What is supported

  • Markdown to HTML: headings, bold and italics, links, images, lists, quotes, code blocks, horizontal rules, and (GitHub style) tables, task lists and strikethrough. Uses marked, a widely used open-source Markdown parser.
  • HTML to Markdown: headings, emphasis, links, images, lists, quotes and code blocks, using Turndown. Choose "#" or underlined headings and the list bullet.
  • The preview is cleaned: scripts and event handlers are removed, and pictures from other websites are not loaded, so nothing is fetched from elsewhere.
