How to add a watermark to a PDF

- Type the watermark text and choose its size, color, opacity and angle, once in the center or repeated across the page.
- Choose all pages or some pages, then save and download.
Good to know
- The watermark is placed upright and centered even on rotated pages.
- Text in any language works, including Chinese, Japanese, Arabic and Cyrillic.
- The page content is copied as it is; only the watermark is added.
- For an image watermark on photos, use Add Watermark to Images.
- Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first with Unlock PDF (you need the password).
