How to calculate GST
- Choose whether your amount is before GST or already includes it.
- Enter the amount and the GST rate: type any rate (or press Custom rate), or pick a common one.
- Read the GST, the CGST and SGST halves (or IGST) and the total.
GST formulas

CGST, SGST and IGST
For a sale within one state, GST is split equally into central GST (CGST) and state GST (SGST, or UTGST in a union territory): 18% becomes 9% + 9%. For a sale between states, the whole amount is integrated GST (IGST).
