How to change a video's volume
- Choose the video.
- Set the volume, or choose Loudness (LUFS) or Peak normalize.
- Press the button and download.
Good to know
- 100% keeps the volume; 200% is about twice as loud (+6 dB).
- Loudness (LUFS) brings the sound to the level streaming services or broadcasters expect (−14, −16 or −23 LUFS), measured to ITU-R BS.1770.
- Peak normalize raises everything until the loudest moment reaches the maximum level, so nothing distorts.
- Very loud parts are softened gently instead of crackling.
- The picture is copied as is; only the sound is encoded again.
- It uses your browser's built-in video technology. It works best in current Chrome and Edge; recent Safari and Firefox versions work too.

Its loudest moment already reaches the maximum. Choose a volume above 100% to make it louder anyway; loud parts are then softened.
