How to make a scatter plot

  1. Paste your data from Excel or Google Sheets, or open a CSV or Excel file.
  2. Add a title, and choose colors, size and number format.
  3. Download it as PNG, SVG or PowerPoint.

Good to know

  • The first column holds the X values (across) and each other column a set of Y values (up).
  • Each column after the first becomes a series with its own color.
  • Turn off "Start the value axis at 0" to fit the dots more closely.
  • Open a PNG saved here to keep editing it: the PNG keeps the data and settings inside.

Your data stays on your device

The chart is drawn in your browser. Your numbers are never uploaded, and this site's security policy blocks the page from sending anything anywhere.

常见问题

Why do I get "needs numbers in the first column"?

A scatter plot places each dot by two numbers, so the first column must hold numbers too, not names.

Is my data uploaded?

No. The chart is made in your browser and your numbers never leave your device.
