How to add Bates numbers
- Choose your PDF.
- Set the prefix, the first number, the number of digits and the position.
- Press Add Bates numbers and download.
Numbering several documents
To continue a series, start the next document at the number after the last page of the previous one. The page tells you the first and last number of each file.
Good to know
- Prefix and suffix are optional (for example a case name or a party's initials).
- Numbers are padded with zeros to the number of digits you choose: 6 digits gives ABC000001.
- The stamp is real text, so it can be found with search.
- Confidential client files stay on your computer: nothing is uploaded.
