How to pixelate an image
- Choose your image.
- Drag over each area to pixelate, or choose "The whole image", and set the strength.
- Save the image and download it.
Good to know
- Stronger means bigger blocks. For names and numbers, a black box hides them most safely.
- Mark as many areas as you need, as rectangles or ovals (for faces), and move or resize them.
- The saved picture is a new image: the pixelated parts can't be turned back into the original.
Maswali yanayoulizwa mara kwa mara
Can pixelation be undone?
Not from the saved image, since the original pixels are replaced. Very light pixelation of large text can sometimes still be guessed, so use a strong setting or a black box for sensitive details.
Is my image uploaded?
No. It is processed in your browser and never sent anywhere.
