How to remove the password from a ZIP

  1. Choose the password-protected ZIP.
  2. Type its password.
  3. Download the new ZIP, which opens without a password.

Good to know

  • You need to know the password. This tool doesn't guess or crack passwords.
  • ZIPs protected with AES (7-Zip, WinRAR and most other apps) and with classic ZipCrypto are supported.
  • The files are put in a new ZIP with the same folders. The original ZIP isn't changed.
  • Password-protected RAR and 7z files can't be unlocked here.
  • Anyone can open the new ZIP, so keep it somewhere safe.
