JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, HEIC, GIF, TIFF, BMP, SVG, any number. Only the start of each file is read.
Your files stay on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
Set a minimum to flag images that are too small, for a website, a print shop or a marketplace listing.
Sizes are shown upright: a phone photo stored sideways with an EXIF rotation is listed the way it is displayed. DPI is only a print setting stored in the file; it doesn't change the pixels.

How to check image dimensions
- Choose images or a folder, or drag them in.
- Optionally set a minimum width and height to flag images that are too small.
- Sort the table by any column, and download it as CSV or JSON.
What you see for each image
- Width × height in pixels, as the image is displayed (phone photos stored sideways are shown upright).
- Megapixels, and the aspect ratio: 3:2, 4:3, 16:9 or the nearest common ratio.
- DPI, when the file stores one (JPEG and PNG). DPI only matters for printing; it doesn't change the pixels.
- The real format, whatever the file name says, and the file size.
Fast, even for big folders
Only the first 64 KB of each file are read: sizes are stored at the start of image files, so hundreds of photos are checked in seconds without opening them. Images whose size isn't in their header are decoded by your browser instead. JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, HEIC, GIF, TIFF, BMP, SVG and PSD are supported.

よくある質問
Why does my photo show a different size than my camera says?
Phones often store photos sideways and add a note to rotate them. This tool shows the size as the photo is displayed, so a 4032 × 3024 photo held upright is listed as 3024 × 4032.
What size do I need for printing?
For a sharp print, about 300 pixels per inch: a 6 × 4 in print needs 1800 × 1200 pixels. The DPI & Print Size Calculator works it out for any size.
Are my images uploaded?
No. They are read in your browser and never sent anywhere.
