How to make an invoice

  1. Fill in your details, your client's, the invoice number and dates.
  2. Add the items with quantity, price and tax; add a discount, shipping, notes and your logo if you like.
  3. Press "Print or save as PDF" and choose "Save as PDF" as the printer to get a PDF.

Keep your invoices

Use "Save invoice file" to keep an invoice as a small file on your device, and "Open a saved invoice" to load it again, for example to make next month's invoice. This website doesn't store your invoices or your clients' details.

Tax and discounts

Each line can have its own tax rate. A discount is shared over the lines before tax, so each rate is charged on what the client really pays. For GST invoices, choose GST to show CGST and SGST separately.

Questions fréquentes

Is it a legally valid invoice?

The tool lays out what you enter. What an invoice must show (tax numbers, addresses, invoice numbering) depends on your country: check your local rules or ask an accountant.

How do I get a PDF?

Press "Print or save as PDF". In the print window, choose "Save as PDF" (or "Microsoft Print to PDF") as the printer. Only the invoice is printed, not the rest of the page.

Is my data private?

Yes. Everything stays in your browser. Saved invoice files go to your own device.
